Noise at the Airport

Especially at the airport noise coming from aircraft engines that have a high frequency and intensity, namely 90-110 dBA Nearly 15% of airline ground crew experience this disorder is circumstantially
The employee do with the plane is divided into 3 groups:

    1. Group I: those who work close to dg aircraft (less than 8 m)

2. Group II: those who are relatively close (80-50 m) plane

3. Group III: those who are morbidly kadang2 must work away from the plane (50-120 m)

According to the noise level (noise level) the area around the aircraft divided by 4 zones namely:
  •  Zone A: 150 dB noise level. This zone has not entered at all
  •  Zone B: noise levels between 135-150 dB. This zone one should try to be as short as possible and must wear ear Muff
  •  Zone C: noise levels between 115-135 dB. This zone is required of all who work should wear ear Muff. If only briefly be wearing ear plugs
  •  Zone D: noise levels between 100-115 dB. People who work here have to wear ear plugs constantly
To prevent / reduce the interference noise needs to be done by way of Hearing Conservation Program: Audiometris checks periodically on the employee Do prevention efforts, including use:      a. Helmet: used when working close to the aircraft run-up      b. Ear Muff: Made of plastic / rubber in sizes S, M, L      c. Group I wear a helmet and ear plugs      d. Group II wore ear Muff      e. Group III is quite wearing ear plugs
