Occupational Accident

An industry so do not want a work accident in the work environment, because it can destroy the reputation of his company. The definition of workplace accidents are unforeseen occurrence and undesirable (Suma'mur, 1996). Another definition of occupational accident occurrence is something that is not originally planned or unexpected and unwanted. Accidents can happen anytime, anywhere and can happen to anyone and have adverse effects on human, material or production or equipment or property (Sangggar Sarana Baja, 2006).
Basically the accident is caused by the two goals of human action that is not safe (unsafe act) and environmental circumstances that are not safe
(Unsafe condition). From investigations, it turns out the human factor in the incidence of accidents is very important. Always be found from the results penelitia, that 80-85% of accidents are caused by negligence or human error. There's even an opinion, that ultimately directly or indirectly, all accidents are due to human factors. Errors may be made by planners factory, by the contractor who built it, the maker of the machines, businessmen, engineers, chemists, electrical, group leader, executive, or officer who made the maintenance of machinery and equipment (Suma'mur, 1996).
